Documents required for foreigners to apply for work permits are as follows:

📋 Required Documents

1. A completed Application Form for Foreigner's Work Permit;

2. Supporting documents concerning work qualifications;

3. Certificates of the highest academic degree (diploma) or relevant approved documents and professional qualification certificates authenticated by:

   • Apostille (from member countries of the Convention Abolishing the Requirement of Legalisation for Foreign Public Documents), or
   • Chinese embassies or consulates abroad;

4. Certificates of no criminal record;

5. Physical health examination certificates;

6. Job contracts or certificates of employment (including letters of dispatch from multinational companies);

7. The applicants' valid passports or other valid international travel documents;

8. The applicants' bareheaded, full-faced photos taken within 6 months;

9. Relevant supporting documents of the accompanying family members;

10. Other relevant materials as may be required.

2. Access through the National Human Resources and Social Security Government Affairs Service Platform：http://www.12333.gov.cn
3. Complete online processing
