RMB Exchange 💴

Outlets of China's commercial banks provide exchange services for small RMB notes.

Foreigners can request an exchange:

• At the counter 🏦
• Using self-service equipment 🤖
• Or obtain a change purse product containing equivalent RMB cash of different denominations at the counter.

Exchange of Foreign Currencies 💱

(I) Pre-Arrival Exchange ✈️

Overseas visitors to China can exchange foreign currencies for RMB cash in advance in relevant countries or regions before arriving in China.

Important Note:
Each visitor is allowed to carry up to RMB 20,000 in cash when entering or leaving the country.

(II) In-China Exchange Options 🏧

Overseas visitors can exchange foreign currencies for RMB cash at:

1. Commercial bank outlets 🏦
2. Money changers 💰
3. Self-service currency exchange machines at:
   • International airports ✈️
   • Land ports 🚗
   • Seaports ⛴️
   • Other entry points marked with a currency exchange sign✅

Additional Option:
Visitors can withdraw RMB cash using international bank cards on ATMs. 💳
